Odd Pre-Sleep Cycle

Lately Pascal has seemed really tired / lethargic for 1-3 hours before his light timer goes out, but with roughly 30 minutes to go, he perks up and gets very energetic until after the lights go out for a while. Does this happen for anyone else? It's somewhat new - only been happening for the last couple of days.

Hard to say what's causing it, especially if it's new behavior. Does he get energetic then try and find a spot to sleep? Sometimes when I try to put Darwin to bed if he's looking sleepy he perks up in his tank and glass dances until I let him out again. Then he promptly scurries around the house for a few minutes and then curls up in a corner and falls asleep. Kind of like a tired kid who doesn't want to miss any of the action at bedtime.
