I own a "male" bearded dragon, i got him from a rescue and they told me that it was a he however I'm not sure. I have had him a little over a year now and he has been doing very well. However, he is now doing a behavior that i've never seen. i have read the articular on burmation, however, his behavior is a little differnt then what that described so im unsure if maybe he is partly in burm or if that is even possible. What has happened is He shed off and he shed just fine everything came off, then he had a poop that didnt look like what i was used to seeing so i took photo's of it.
this is the poop he had and i went one step further and broke it open to see what was in it
this is not his normal poo. sense this poo he has gone into his rock hide and pretty well stayed in there he will come out to catch a cricket like right now his head is sticking out but he is not getting up on his log and sun bathing like normal. I have checked and his temperatures are in the right range, the humidy is right, and i've not changed anything with his cage. i just know He shed, had this odd poop, and is now almost seems if he is nesting and i use this term becuse i hear he/she inside the rock digging at the floor(which is just glass) could my He be a She and i need to get her to the vet??
