I was giving my beardie a bath and noticed these black-ish dots on his underside by his "poop-shoot" and back legs. They almost look like perfectly aligned black heads almost. Starts from one end of his leg to the other back leg...
This normal?
I can take a picture if it's something to be worried about.

Also, Any other sugguestions to get a beardie to poop?
-Warm baths/soaks
-rubbing his stomach from neck to "poop-shoot"
-drops of vegetable oil
I'm getting desperate and I'm too broke to go to a vet for awhile (til the 20th), vet wants $75 just to be seen!

(Sorry for "poop-shoot" don't know what to call it)

Hi S.B....the dots are called femoral pores. As for helping him to go, try a little mineral oil, applesauce, prune baby food or canned pumpkin, or a combo of any of those.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
