Yesterday I gave my bearded dragon some crickets but for some reason she wouldn't eat them. She ate maybe one and then just laid there while they crawled all over her so I took them out and just let her be for the night. This morning I gave her a few crickets that were still alive and she acted oddly. She ran towards a cricket but went passed it and tried to bite the glass instead of the cricket which made me think that something was wrong with her vision. I moved the cricket towards her more and she got it but when she reaches for the cricket she's not putting her head down far enough to grab them and it takes her a couple tries before getting them. I moved one in front of her and she ate it but then for some weird reason she ate a small piece of her shed in front of her which I've never seen her do anything like that before. She is shedding right now but she's already shed around her face and I've never had a problem with her seeing while shedding before. I'm really concerned and not sure what's going on with her.

I'm sorry that this is happening, that is very scary. Am I correct that this just arose suddenly last night, and she had no prior symptoms of illness at all?

If you could please post some photos of her (full body and close ups of her head and eyes) and of her enclosure and setup it will be very helpful. Also, we need all of the information on her and her setup and daily diet...

How old is she, how long have you had her, are you certain she is a female, how long is she from the tip of her snout to the tip of her tail, how much does she weigh (if you know), what is her complete daily diet and how much, what supplements do you give her and how often, how often does she poop and is it normal, how often do you bath her, and has she ever been to see a reptile vet for anything?

How big is her enclosure, what substrate do you have in the bottom, what are the temperatures for her hot side, her cool side, and her basking spot and what type of thermometer do you use to take them, what brand, model, wattage, and size of both UVB bulb and basking bulb do you use (VERY IMPORTANT), do you use any additional lighting or heating at nighttime, and has she had any illnesses or issues in the past?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
