Im so Confused! Nu has been lying in her viv near enough dormant for 3 months,
I posted a while back about her eating issues , that still hasn't been sorted :/
But to carry on..
Since around Thursday she hasn't wanted to stay in her viv!
She came out at least 13 times that day and stayed out for an hour or so a time!
She is just been so adventurous! she must of explored at least every room in the house!
its now tuesday and she is still doing the exact same!
ibe been trying to ignore her but her little face looks so sad!
She head bobbed at me for not opening the door today!

I did swap a bit of her viv around a couple of weeks ago, but its not like she dosent like it! she loves it!
Any help into what's going on would be appreciated!
Do you think she wants a bigger viv? its 4ft but she`s quite a bit dragon!

Hello, my bearded dragon has been brumating as well and she recently woke up! It seems like she has so much energy she doesn't know what to do with it all. She has been pacing around her cage like mad, and I felt some bumps in her abdomen while I was bathing her so I'm thinking maybe she's going to lay eggs. At least this would explain her restless behavior, so I put a box of dirt in her cage in hopes the digging will calm her down.

What you're describing sounds normal, but maybe there's someone a little more experienced out there who can let us know for sure. :p

It sounds like hormones to me. If she has woken up from a semi-brumation she's likely to be full of beans and/or frisky.

Also as the above poster said this is similar behaviour to egg laying. In regards to how to determine which one this is id watch out for burrowing and digging. If she digs she may have a batch of infertiles on the way. It wont be the odd bit of digging either, it will be all the time. In terms of being able to feel eggs I wouldnt rely on that too much. Dex had 32 eggs in her belly and even though I handled her every day I didnt spot them!

If she's just anxsty and glass dancing its just summer madness getting to her, so not to worry. All 4 of mine have gone through it.

I've just gotten used to it lol,
She has been climbing an awful lot so i am assuming its egg laying time,
Its been about 4 weeks since she ate anything now, im not sure whether to wait it out, or the vets, but there isent really much a vet can do i guess

Just gotta wait i guess.... :|

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
