Number of Dubia to start with

If I start out with 1000 roaches (including 20 pairs) do I have to wait months to get the bearded dragon? I would get the roaches first, then the cage and supplies, then the dragon, so can I get the dragon after about a month I get the roaches? Or would I still have to wait 3 months?

I would wait a month before I feed off any in that colony.

I'm giving mine about four months or so. Then again, I just bought a chinchilla so my beardie aspirations must be put on hold. (Pretty much the sole reason I haven't been scurrying around this forum like normally. I miss you guyssss but the chinchilla forum is demanding.
