Nox's results from vet

Nox was diagnosed as dehydrated and possibly worm infested, the lab tech was not in. He recommended pedialight, but my fiance forgot the cut ratio. what is the portion that you cut pedialight and water. I am also dropping the temp to 95 per the vet. I really hope that I can get her better.

I believe its one part pedialight, 2 parts water. Hope she comes around for you.

My baby passed today not too long ago. It is even more difficult on me because she died in my hands and I feel like her last moment were hell. She threw her head back, mouth gaping, seized for a couple seconds, and went totally limp. I wish I felt like I really did everything I could, but with that last act I feel like I really let her down. I feel terrible. I just want my little baby back and right now she only looks as if she is sleeping in a container, never to wake again. I didn't have her long, but she was the perfect dragon in terms of color, but I wish I had more time with her as a healthy dragon so I could have know who she really was. I don't know how I will be able to handle being on the forums for the next couple days, I never could have guessed I would be hit this hard.

I'm sorry for your loss. Try and not be too hard on yourself, you did all you could and provided her with proper care and love.
I can't remember how long you had her but I would be contacting the breeder, he should have never sent out a baby that sick.

the vet called back with the results saying that Nox had giardia. Unfortunately she was only 5 grams and said that it was near impossible for her to fight it. He also said that since she seized she probably had a neurological problem due to calcium deficiency. I feel horrible cause I really thought that I was giving her ample supplements. Is this something that the giardia could have caused? I just really want to make sure that I am taking proper care of my babies and closure on Nox. He was concerned that she was shipped so small and that was most likely too tasking on her system and she just couldn't recover. I know I'll never find another girl like her and really regret losing her...

Some dragons just don't absorb calcium well, I don't know if illness causes it or if it something they are born with. What is you supplement schedule? just to double check that everything is ok for your other little guy.
You should probably have your other dragon checked for giardia too. Its a awful parasite to have, I had it once and was absolutely miserable.

will do on the checking the others. The supplement schedule I'm using is calcium, calcium, multi-vitamin and repeat. I'm starting to use repti worms and was only going to dust the worms with a multi-vitamin every third day.
