So, my story begins with trying to seperate 500 phonix worms from their soily substrate at 11 o'clock last night, taking me all the way until two o'clock in the morning, I had just finished after using my improvised siv (a plastic tub with holes drilled in the bottom) which left me with a tub full of sticky wet worms and about 10% of the substrate left. Knowing the phonix worms would be able to climb the vertical sides of the tub due to them being wet, I securely fixed the lid onto the tub and took it upstairs with me and placed it on top of the beardies' vivarium in my bedroom. Tiredly stumbling into bed along side my girlfriend I went to sleep, all the way through to 1 o'clock this afternoon, due to my girlfriend waking me up. Now, she didnt only just wake me up because it was late, she woke me up because she had just awoken to see about 200 phonix worms all over the vivarium, floor, clothes, everything. Confused I tippy toed my way over to the vivarium, being careful not to squish any of the worms, I inspected the lid I had fixed onto the tub. Suprisingly, the lid was still properly attached to the tub, inspecting it for any holes, I came up empty. How those worms escaped, ill never know!
