Do you bathe him? A fifteen minute bath has always works if one of mine seems a little sluggish, and presto! There's poop! Make sure the water is right about the same temperature as your wrist, not any hotter, or very slightly cooler. If that doesn't work, there may be something more going on, and you can post in the Health or ER forums for a more detailed response.
Thanks for the suggestion - I give him baths on a regular but have rarely kept him in there more than 5 minutes or so - so I just tried the 15 minutes and still no luck.
I will try posting this on the Health and ER forum.
my baby takes a while to poop, but what really gets her to poop is the fact that she swims in the water, and that helps. if that doesnt help i change the water temp from my wrist to a little cooler, and that makes her poop
Kora just had this problem but it was resolved this morning I gave her some strawberries (her FAVORITE snack) which are really watery and gave her a 10 min bath and the next morning there was a giant pile waiting for me! You can also give her a few drops of mineral oil (we also have done this at work, I'm a vet tech) and it seems to help sometimes.
