ok i put him in his new tank 4days ago 6foot by 2by2foot its huge. I turn him on at 7am and for the last week he keeps tryin to dig and sleep about 3or4 pm. when i turn his lights of normal time at 7-8ish the lights are ok temps basking is 108-111 warm end is 100-89 cool side is 76-85 uv light is a 12% arcadia i have a small water pool the humid is no more than 10% sometimes his beard is as black as a hat and othertimes he is fine.???

its not that his last viv was 5 1/2 foot so its not that. And y is 6foot to big its better than some small 4foot that he can almost turn in ??

i got him tested a week ago and hes all clear. Might be the move what should i do just keep him on 12hours or more as summer is now hear

Lowuk beardies will stress at the most minor changes sounds like that's what is going on. I have beardies that do this if I rearrange the furniture in the room they are located even if they are not moved (just a change in their view). :roll: I've had them do this over changing something as simple as a food dish because I broke it. Took Ms. Tiggs over a week to get use to the new dish.

What is the distance requirement on the Arcadia? Is it the same as Reptisuns? 6" to 8"

I have always run my light cycles in conjunction/close proximity with the natural daylight hours. Right now mine are on at 6:30am (just after sunrise) and off at 8:00ishpm (just about dusk).
