Hey everyone another question about sunny and her shedding.
So the last time i recorded her shedding was in December and she has not shed or went into shed since. Is she done growing now or what i cant think of why she isnt shedding. The only thing i can think of is maybe from what i have heard is beardies are not done growing until they are like 2 years old so i thought maybe she was just slowing down like people they have a growth spurt when they are young then slow down and have another spurt later on and slow down again until grown. So maybe thats why she is not shedding or maybe i dont feed her enough i have a question about feeding in the feeding section. I feed her 4 superworms everyday since i was told 8 every other day because thats what they fed their 20 inch long BD which was great advice but she got aggressive when i didnt feed her. Also she has an arcadia light it runs the whole length of her cage her hot side air temp is 94 degrees her cool side is 78 degrees and her basking spot is 106.3 degrees. i feed her veggies everyday. I put calcium mineral and vitamin stuff on her worms monday wednesday and friday i feed her close to noon. Her light comes on at 7 in the morning and goes of at 8 at night i added an hour of daylight since its spring and will add another hour when summer comes then take an hour of daylight as the seasons change and so on. i bathe her 2-3 times a week. She is not active and never has been she moves around and climbs her stuff sometime when she goes to bed at night most of the time. she can get within 4 inches of her uvb light.
