Not eating

Hi everyone, so as some of you might remember I have a bearded dragon from a family friend, I acquired him in December and i think she got him in June when he was a baby, so my guess is he is. 11 months old. Anyway, i switched him from crickets to reptiworms, he loved them at first and gobbled them up but now he is hardly eatin, well not eating. I have fresh lettuces and an assortment of colored things like strawberrys and peppers at times. He is active, bright and hasn't appeared to loose any weight. He is sleeping more. Should I be worried about him?

Lettuce is a no no, poor nutritional value. It will dehydrate your dragon and cause digestion problems.

As for your question, it may seem that he is brumating.

Its not that kind of lettuce, he gets dandalion greens, mustard greens and turnip greens.

I did not mean to offend you; I am sorry. I was under the impression "lettuces" meant iceburg, romaine, red leaf, etc. Next time I will take "lettuces' less literal with you and know you mean "dandalion greens, mustard greens and turnip greens."

what lights are you us ing
how far away are they from him
what is your enclosure like
we need much more info mate.

I have a 40 gallon breeder tank, I have the hot side at 110 and the cool side like 78, I have the setup what I learned on here, the reptisun mounted in the cage and 6-8 inches from him, I also use a daylight on the other side of the cage otherwise it looks dark. I made a rock fixture for his basking spot but he actually sleeps cuddling the accurite thermometer, it's very odd i must say, I was thinking about putting his log back in because maybe he just hates the rock I made him, lol. He also has a hammock he goes on and a vine. He is not loosing weight and his color looks great.

I wouldn't worry unless you see him starting to lose weight. Everything seems fine and like I said earlier he might be brumating. All dragons don't brumate the same. Just make sure to watch his weight, but I'm sure you will!
