The past couple of weeks my bearded dragon has seemed better then ever. He loves his new house I built him, he was moving around a lot and eating more then he usually did. The past week though he doesn't want to eat crickets and the squash that he loves he will have just a nibble of it. He just stays under his sun lamp all day long. He usually stands up most of the day but for the past week he's just been laying there all day. Then the light turns off and he just goes to sleep there too. He doesn't seem to move very much all day long. The only time he seems to move is to poop. Although today he just stayed there and pooped.

I also notice today he has a dark belly which is usually white. I've read that the dark belly usually means he's stressed. I have no idea what's going on with him. I haven't changed his diet, lighting , house etc. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on with him?

Thanks

I'm using a reptisun 10 uvb and his basking spot is right around 102-105. He usually lays in the spot that's closer to 99-101 though. The cool side ranges from 70-75.

How long was he in his new house before this started? If you built it yourself maybe there is something in there thats adversely effecting him? I dont know what that could be but maybe a paint or wood treater or adhesive you used.. Hopefully someone else will have a better idea what this could be.

He's been in his new home for 3+ months now. I don't think anything inside the viv is harming him. I tried to use very little product inside the viv. There isn't any paint or anything like that.

His belly is nice and white now and he seems a lot more alert. He still seems lazy though. I think he might have just been sick.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
