Hi i changed things in my viv in order to get temps perfect 5 days ago as a new thermometer i got showed the temps were wrong  . I lovered the UVB (arcadia 12%) so she could get 6 inches near it. I bought a new log and basking bulb. Ive changed the hot and cold sides around- temps are 110 basking spot and about 76 cold side. Set up is fine. She was stressed when i changed it, which i understand is normal. since the change, she has gone off her food: not eating or showing interest in live food since the change around- at the most 3 medium sized hoppers per day, if that. She wont touch her crickets and barely touches her salad, if at all. she is 9 months, active, basking and thermoregulating. she has pooped every day except one but they are really small (im putting this down to not eating as much??!). She's slowly getting used to the change but is still a bit edgy in her viv. Is the not eating like nowmal down to 'relocation' stress from the change around? Or could it be that she is getting older and not as interested in live food? I have read and answered some posts about relocation stress but when its your own beardie you like a bit reassurance lol, thanks :D

Mine is doing exactly the same thing except I have not changed anything in his viv. I would say give it a few more days as it may be stress. Eventhough you just changed the inside of the viv it could be the same as relocation stress.

It's probably relocation stress and maybe some winter slowdown contributing to it. If she's doing fine otherwise, then I would try and not worry.

Yeah she seems fine otherwise, still pooing (small amounts) and active. Ive had her nearly 5 months and i still worry lol. thanks 4 the reassurance- hope she starts eating properly soon, just ordered some calci worms and more locusts.

Ours decided since it was getting cold to stay on the cold side more and cool down. Then they stopped eating. I know they where trying to go into brumation but I don't want them to do that yet. So... I tried everything to get them to eat, favorite veggies, dark colored active crickets, even leapinlizards drops. All wasted on them. I also handled them more than usual, although it was more like handling a sleeping dragon since they really didn't care much. They seemed intent to go into brumation. So I pulled out the big guns, my secret weapon, super worms. Active, squirmy super worms. They couldn't resist.
I gave them however many crickets they would eat in the AM, veggies all day, and for dinner I gave them not crickets but 5-7 super worms. They ate them up and wanted more every night. They also started eating more crickets and veggies. After 2 weeks they where back to normal. It helped that the house warmed up some when the cold front passed through.

Be warned, for about three days afterwards they didn't' want to eat crickets at night, they wanted their worms. :D LOL But after about half an hour of watching me and licking the glass they would go eat the crickets. So all is well now thankfully.

Hoping you have success finding your secret weapon.

Thanks rayjones, ive ordered some different live foods online to try her with a range. She is starting to come around a bit- ate 4 medium sized hoppers tonight and had her happy colours on in her viv for the first time since saturday. Im thinking she will probably feel fuller off the medium sized so i shouldn't expect her to eat loads, but im not sure whats the 'normal' eating amount with hoppers. I usually feed her black crickets, but all the pet shop had in were the brown ones and i don't think she's overly keen- i'll go get some black ones tomorrow and i'll keep on persisting with the crickets like you did and hopefully she'll come around :D

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
