Hi everyone,
I'm at my wits end, and scared for my little dude. He had a 7 day treatment for coccidia with Albon prescribed from my reptile vet. I had taken in a fecal sample because I was concerned that his eating had slowed down. He had not been really eating his greens at all, and only a few BSF larvae and no dubias at all for a couple of weeks.
Fast forward till now, hes been off the Albon for a week, and nothing. No bugs, no greens, he won't eat anything at all. Ive soaked him, done the water drip on his nose to allow him to drink, which he did drink. I've given him watered down pedalyte, to keep his electrolytes up, and syringe fed him baby food squash. The syringe feeding was a disaster, a successful disaster, though. I did get some food down his throat, on his beard, his nose, some splashed into his eye, all over my arm, the kitchen counter, ect.
At this point, I think my beardie hates me because of the week solid of medication, the feedings, ect.
Please help me, any ideas? Oh hes about 7 months old, basking spot 103, cool spot 85, new uvp lamp, and approx 1 hour a day outside if the temp is under 100 degrees out.
