not digging her holes

hello my girl jackie is gravid with her 2nd clutch,her body didnt even give her time to rest after the first clutch...she mated in aug, layed her first clutch sept 14 (still in incubator) right away her boby started forming eggs from stored sperm. she is now huged and will just sit there and stare into outer space.. i will try to dig with my fingers to show her than she will start but stop after a min,she is in a 20 l tank and i covered mostly around the case so nothing will distract her, what else can i do . please help

Unfortunately, you can't force her to start digging. She will when she's ready to lay her eggs.

All you can do is to keep putting her back into her laybox and just let her be.

Are you giving her extra calcium?

we are still here digging holes i see her digging making sort of a cave like hole and it ends up colapseing cuz she wont stop digging its just frustrating when i see on u tube or her about people putting there babies in there lay boxes and walla they lay there eggs pretty quickly :roll:

I just want to say that finally my baby layed her eggs around midnight, all 19 of them..

What a relief for you, huh ? Now you'll want to be sure to offer her pretty much all she wants to eat, dusted with calcium. Some females will eat that very day, or the next like a maniac, others take more than a day or two at times to get back to the big appetite.

Good that she finally laid her eggs. Do exactly as AHBD said and also make sure she is VERY well hydrated.

Poor thing ,I gave her water right after she layed and then put her on my chest and covered her up and she passed right out... The next day she was out of it all day, and finally today she started eating some silkworms .. Tomorrow I will go get her a pinky
