Not basking, staying on cool end, not as active

My Bearded Dragon, Rose, has been acting strange since the past week or so. She's normally very alert and always seeming to roam around her enclosure. Lately she's not been doing that.

She stays on the cool end and sits on her log there. She doesn't go to the basking area at all any time during the day and lays in the same spot.

Her basking temps stay about 115F-120F and she does have a UVB light. She's fed crickets a few times a week and she gets her greens sprinkled with Calcium powder every other day. She eats just fine but prefers mustard greens over anything.

Nothing has changed in her enclosure. Maybe I need to change her UVB bulb? Maybe I need to buy some Herptivite because I lost mine some time ago somehow. Maybe I need to lower basking temps?

This is just kinda weird.. She just seems so lazy.

Hi, sorry to hear that your beardie isn't acting right. Your basking temp is concerning as it should only be 110 or less, shouldn't be any higher or it can cause overheating and rapid dehydration. What type of thermometer are you using to check the temps? Where exactly are you taking the temps? What size tank is she in and what is the wattage of the basking bulb?

How old is she and is she housed alone?

Can you fill us in on the brand and type of UVB you're using and what the distance is? Also, how old is the UVB bulb?

How many crickets does she eat in a week? You're dusting with calcium at every feeding? Yes, you need to get more vitamins and start dusting with that 2 days a wk.

Since she is avoiding the basking area, it does sound like the temps are too hot for her and she may be de
hydrated so giving her frequent baths in warm water for about 15 min each time would be a good idea.

Once you answer the other questions, we can help further.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
