not a happy camper in the AM

Hey guys,
I wasn't sure if i'm the only one with this issue but i set my ceramic heater to turn off at 8:00am, my day light cuts on at 7:45, and my UVB cuts on at 8:30. The temps are well within range but it takes a little enticing to kickstart Hunter to eat in the mornings now. He is 3 months and 9" and eats copious ammounts once he is wide awake. He just doesn't seem to enjoy waking up. Has anyone figured out a great time to set the lights or is it actually on an indiviual preference. I didn't want to stress him out by toying with the times to find the right time for him but if it is on a specific Beardie preference than I will.

caesar refuses to eat untill he is properly warmed up. it usually takes him about a half hour to change to his normal colors and do his morning beard stretches. i leave my house at 630 in the AM so i wake him up at 6AM. but he goes to sleep at 8PM so he gets his hours in. i give him a half hour before trying to feed him. i need to get a timer so i can wake him up after i am gone and can spend some time with him at night :( but for now i have an alarm to tell me when to turn his lights on/off.

i let the girls warm up for an hour to an hour and ahalf before feeding them with night temps around 70 to 75 degreesF gives them plenty of time to warm up :)

hey thanks for the insight. I really don't have that much time in the morning but i could always adjust his wake up time slightly prior to mine to allow him to get to a toasty state haha. I picked up manual timers for the lights at radioshack for $10 a piece. they charge double that for digital ones but i couldn't find reasoning in buying those. hey doe, you could always turn your beardy into a nocturnal reptile so you could spend time with him! thanks again for sharing your schedules with me:)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
