Nose Rubbing??

My new beardie that I just got today is in a very long 40 gallon tank with a lot of room to walk around, he is not fully grown yet, but he is stressed as I can tell, since he just moved in obviously.
But he keeps rubbing his nose on the glass wall of his cage and it scares me a little because I don't know if he's overly stressed or about to shed!!
He is in a bigger tank than he was when I first bought him, and I plan on upgrading the size as he grows to about a 75-120 gallon. I'm just a little scared for him because I heard that sometimes they rub their noses raw and I really don't want that to happen to him ahh!

My guess is .... he's got an itchy nose.

All my lizards love a good nose rub , especially if I give it to them....

Since he's not used to me I can't handle him yet, seeing as I just adopted him ahh
I've put some paper up on the walls of his cage for now (I'm still trying to find a background because the pet store was out ahh) because I think he could see his reflection and it may have stressed him out. He's still currently looking at the same place he was rubbing his nose before I put paper up?
He stopped but he's still staring at it ahhH

Sounds like they're looking at their reflection, which they can be aggressive towards. Cover up the spot with cardboard, paper, or something, if you can. 3 sides of the enclosure should be covered.

Yep! I started to realize it was his reflection so I have the sides covered with paper until I have a background for him! Thank you!!
