Thanks Haley,
We think so! We are completely taken with the little fellow.
Here is a photo we made last night. I wanted to see if he would still fit on my thumb. Poor Norris. I don't think he put model on his resume. I waited until he was drowsy because I knew he wouldn't stand (sit) for it, otherwise. He still expressed his displeasure in some "I'm going to call my agent" stress marks.

Now this picture is one from the same week as the photo of Norris with my husband from an above post. It's probably about the 11th of July after I returned from my trip. While Norris is not on my thumb, you can see my thumb in the background and see that while he is still a small fellow, he has grown up a bit.

you can also see what I mean about how hard it was to pet him even with just one finger. He was such a little bloke. He didn't have any orange to speak of yet and his spikes were hardly noticeable. Those were all one of the surprises of his first sheds.

A Big Thank YOU to everyone taking the time to check in on our little Norris.

What a cutie! I love how teeny tiny he is in the 2nd pic. It amazes me that they were selling him when they were that little. You are such a great mom to take such good care of him! He is very lucky to have you waiting on him hand and tail :)

Speaking of Tail...you did say tail, yes? hehe

I'm sure if Norris were old enough to beard he would. I put him back to bed after this one. My hand is tilted in this photo. He has quite a long tail. Do all dragons have one cockeyed ring around the tail? It seems to me as though they do. How odd.

Big Bad Hunter taken with a Rotten Lousy Bad Camera Phone. I've been misting the outside walls of the 10g Cricket Colosseum so that Norris is very aware of where the walls are when he is hunting. It cuts down on the reflections and by misting the outside, it also cuts down on the humidity inside. I've seen a lot less glass dancing since I've been doing this...don't know if it is because he's just used to the Colosseum now or if it is helping but there ya go.

Go Norris! He has such a tail!! I'm super impressed. Dres's tail is long too, but I've never had the thought to measure it though. I can't show Nezzie his picture - she's going to have tail envy since her's is such a stubby thing.

Do you mainly feed him crix? I'll have to try misting the sides of Dresden's feeding tank to see if that helps him stay focused. The cats are super curious about what goes on in there and then he gets distracted. He starts banging his nose against the glass when he's full lol How does Norris let you know he is full or do you only give him 15 minutes and take him out?

Thank you, Brandon. I'm taking that as high praise! :D I think most people would prefer clean glass, but it's just the feeding viv. I watch from the top!

Norris says thanks, Maggie. I'm starting to get the hang of when he is done eating I think. His posture changes a little bit. He doesn't hold himself off the ground as much and just sort of settles in to watch the last cricket instead of hunt it. It becomes Beardie Tele ' the Cricket Channel'. After it walks under his snout the fifth or seventh time, I usually clue in and deliver him to his basking spot. Man does he have it rough, eh?

Exactly! I also some Phoenix worms for him and some day soon I hope to convince him that they are food and not just entertaining.

Well, today Norris just wasn't interested in eating food. He was, however, very entertained by this phoenix worm.
For some reason it held his attention. He dropped to the ground, flat and turned to look at it from first one eye then another. I thought for certain it was a goner! I waited and waited and waited...tick-tick-tick...eventually the thing squirmed away and Norris started doing his "Get me out of here, Tree." stare.

He definitely twisted into a strange shape to have his look.

At least Norris feigns interest. There is no way Dresden would even look crossways at a Reptiworm. He does look cute as usual.

Any word on the computer?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
