Your beardie knows and trusts and loves you, and you are her safe place when scary strangers are near.
Your beardie is not a dog or a cat , don't force strangers onto her when she's so uncomfortable and extremely scared, stressed when confronted by them. What she's doing is totally normal , as not all beardies are outgoing as others and she may have had some traumatic strange people experiences in the past before you brought she home.
It will be possible to desensitise her to these people group situations to the point where she is more curious than scared but why stress her unnecessarily.
She'll become braver and more laid back as she grows and becomes a big adult beardie , I think it's because they no longer feel as vulnerable as adults because they are big and powerful , whereas when they are hatchlings and juveniles they see everything that is bigger than they are as a potential predator who is apt to kill and eat them.
If I can get rescued wild water skinks (a juvenile about 6g who grew to 20g before the cat claw infection flared back up and killed him , and an adult I rescued after she was accidentially whippersnipped across the back in my backyard - always very curious and this got her into trouble in the long grass , who was about 35g) who are tiny compared to your girl so tame and relaxed around people (while they were on me) that they'd let strangers pat them , then you can , with time and patience get your girl to be relaxed in social situations , she may never like being handled by strangers but at least she may be relaxed with limited petting and being on the floor when there are strangers in the room.
