Normal Shedding Behavior?

Hello,

My 5 month old is near the end of a shed. She has started dragging her face on the paper towels, and it almost looks like she is digging. She even gets herself under the paper towels from time to time. We've had her for over a month, and she has shed before, but this is the first time she has done this. Is this normal?

If she hasn't shed her head, her nose and head might be itchy. Paper towels are a little rough so it might feel good to rub her face on it. =)
