Hi,
My son got Noremac back in March when he was about 6 inches long, and I posted a few questions, and have been lurking ever since. My son got fed up with me "mothering" his pet and told me to get my own...I thought about it for a few weeks and then found a beardie clearance at PetCo...$18 for a bigger (10 inch) one. They just happened to be having their dollar-a-gallon sale too...perfect timing! I decided to sleep on it, called in the morning and the one I had picked was still there. So I went and got Cass! (We have a Supernatural theme going in our house and Sam, Dean and Crowley are the bettas lol) I figured it's time I introduce myself and the two boys. It is so funny how different their personalities can be! Norm has always been shy, stiffens up when you hold him, etc. but will tolerate it. He likes to be held close. But he loves having his head/face/neck stroked. Cass, on the other hand, wants to be held where he can see what's going on. He also loves having his head/neck pets but the face is off limits...he shakes his head really fast! They are polar opposites, so everything I learned with Norm I'm having to sort of tweak with Cass. So now Norm is about 14 inches (with the end of his tail nipped off) and Cass has grown over an inch (starting on his second shed already!) Norm is starting to love bathtime and swam away from my son's hand yesterday to the 'deep' end!
Anyway...here they are. I'm going to get new "wallpaper" for the outside of the tanks. They both had the tank picture wrap-around thingies but it makes the enclosures too dark, so I'm thinking white paper the light can get in through. Any suggestions?
Noremac first day home: (have since replaced the stick-on therm with a temp gun lol)
