Is there a non toxic sealant I can use for my bearded dragons driftwood?I would like to be able to keep as many crickets out of the driftwood as a I possibly can? It's hard to tell how many are left in the cage when they all hide in the holes of the driftwood.

Thank you,

Kimberly Isaacs

im not sure about any safe sealant for drift wood but, if your feeding in the tank you could take out the drift wood for while or you could hand feed/get a big bin and feed him/her in that

Depending on how porous the wood is you probably never be able to totally seal it completely. There is some really durable resin sealents that are very expensive. You would basically have to dunk the whole piece of wood in it.

I understand what you're talking about. Try sealing the holes with hot glue on the underside. You could try to sand down the top, but it probably isnt worth it. I find that that the crickets only want to go underneath where it is dark.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
