Hi, I have two beardies, both of whom have seemed in good health over the time i have had them up untill the last couple of days. Both seem active and are eating normally but have not been to the toilet in the last 2 days. Should i be concerned about this? They are fed on a diet of medium sized meal worms, medium crickets, kale, squash and carrot. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Cheers!

I agree with Tom that a bath often works wonders. Mealworms have a tendency to clog beardies up because of their hard shells. Most of us don't feed them b/c of the hard shells and lack of nutrtitional value. How big are your dragons? What are your temps and how are you measuring them? Are the crickets smaller than the space between their eyes? If you still can't get them to poop, let me know and I can give you a few more things to try.

I also agree. I am new to the beardie family but everytime I place Moria, my beardie, in the tub she just lets things go. Give it a try.

Good luck

Also, here is a wonderful list to choose healthy foods for your two !

I wouldn't feed meal worms at all due to the high likelyhood of impaction. Better staple insects are: crix, roaches, silk worms, phoenix worms ( no need of calcium with these, they come packed naturally !) and super worms if both are over 14" in length. If in the UK, also available to you are locusts.
Kale is a treat too.
Just keep the length of insects to the size of the distance between the dragons' eyes and you are all good !

Hope this helped out !
Janie.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
