No More Sand, Tiles! help?(pics included)

So finally got around to getting rid of the playsand I use in my beardies viv. Basically just looking for opinions from people on how it's all setup.

Also would like some suggestions on how to get rid of shifting tiles.

Looks pretty good to me . I personally would have gone with larger tiles...less gaps and you dont have to remove as many to clean them.

yea i was trying to go with bigger tiles, but they didnt have any that would fit in as a whole tile, i would have to cut one in half to cover the entire surface, didnt wanna go through the trouble lol

I have to say, that last pic is priceless! He looks really ticked!!

We use tiles here and we had to use silicone caulk and let it set for a week to let it dry and let the smell dissipate. We were worried that the nails of the lizard would get caught and pull, or the foot pads would get pinched. We all do it differently though! Best of luck!! :mrgreen:

i trying to change my sand and go with tiles but where can i find them my petstore dnt have maybe a hardware store?

Your local home improvement place would have them. Ask for clearance tiles, they usually carry them in the back of the store (Lowes, Home Depot, Menards)

Yea, I got mine from home depot, 5$ a sq. ft, probably could of found cheaper but thats all i could find for stuff with a little grip to them.

Although I was gonna stick in like 2 or 3 real smooth tiles just to watch him slip around a bit lol
