Caesar's CHE stopped working today and I cannot keep the temperature over 65 unless I keep his basking light on. Is it worth it to keep him warm? Or should I have him sleep with me for the heat? (CHE arrives tomorrow at noon)

Previous to the heat problem, the past two weeks or so, he hasn't been eating on his own. I have to hand feed him for him to eat. He has no interest in crickets unless I put them in front of his face, one by one. When I do hand feed him, he eats very slowly. He won't eat any waxworms either. I don't want to baby him, but I don't want him to starve either.

Other than that, he has been pretty active and the lighting/heating was fine up until today. He poops regularly. Could he still be under stress from the house fire we had a month ago?

Hi. Beardies like it completely dark at night and cool. If your house does not get below 65 no heat source is needed.

I imagine a house fire can be pretty stressful. Was he in the house at the time and exposed to smoke?

As for the feeding, a lot of dragons prefer their humans to feed them. It's easier than chasing things down. You can just refuse hand feeding for a few days and eventually he'll get hungry enough to chase his food. It could be worth getting him tested for parasites though. Most dragons need deworming once a year and I can always tell when mine has them because his appetite decreases and he becomes and bit more lethargic in regards to making me hand feed him versus chasing down food.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
