sorry if they is a dumb repeated question feel free to link me to another topic. i just couldnt find one where i havent tried the tricks in it.
ive tried to feed dino apple, lettuce, greens, banana, carrots an orange an he wont touch them. i change them out an put fresh ones in the tank every day an they are on a semi flat dish so i know he can see them an he still wont eat them. i keep the greens dish on his cool side so they wont dry out.
*ive also tried adding water to the dish
*adding in worms(he litterally either eats them off the top without getting ANY thing but the wax worm or doesnt go for them cuz they are hidden in the greens)
*holding them infront of him(my fiance one time got him to eat 1 bite of 1 carrot other then that hes only ever licked them)
*an dusting a small piece cricket sized piece an held it in front of him hoping he would thing its a cricket... ya i got the stink eye for that.

hes pretty young only about 2 months i think(ill ask how hold he is next time im at the petshop they still have his siblings)
right now i gutload his crickets with vegs but is that enough?

Babies some times will just be finicky. Just keep the greens in with him and as he gets older he might start eating them.

My girl is 2 years old and is still the same way.

Every now and then i stop giving her protein until she eats greens, but this might take over a weeks, she really is stubborn!

Just keep trying

I would try to put the greens in his tank for the first couple hours he is awake...then give him crickets a lil later. If he is hungry, he will try the greens & hopefully like them. If u are feeding him the crix first, he may be full & that could be why he's not interested in the greens. When they are younger they tend to not eat the greens as much & eventually they learn to love them...usually anyway! lol

Sometimes when Scorch is grouchy I will wave a piece around in front of her face so the movement attracts her attention. If all else fails and you have some time to kill, wait till he opens his mouth and shove a piece in there. It is a dirty trick, but they will usually chew it up. What greens are you feeding?

you shouldn't be feeding any type of lettuce. Try dandelion greens, collard greens and kale. Maybe that will do the trick. And like the other person said give greens before you offer insects if he is being suborn.

i called the people that mow the grass around here an asked if they use any chemicals on the yard an they said no so i picked some dandelion greens an choped them up with some orange pieces an carrot pieces an gave them to him. i got him to eat a carrot slice my holding it in front of him an he ate the whole thing in 2 chomps. then i held an orange slice infront of him an he chomped on that. BBUUTTT when i went to give him another much smaller slice he got my finger :p my fault completely and i knew it may happen an it didnt hurt at all. it just made me jump :p oh ya an sorry i hadnt updated on this my internet for my laptop has be down an i cant get the wireless to work either an i cant post on my phone for somereason. but thank you every one :D

Scorch occasionally will nibble toes (no food involved) . Lol. It never hurts even when they are bigger. Although she has never bitten, so I am not sure what an angry dragon bite would feel like, but I can't imagine her ever getting angry to do that she is such a sweetie pie. She has gotten so spoiled lately that she is out of her viv almost constantly, with the exception of required uv time. Dogs are getting used to her wandering the floor. Glad to see you are getting Dino to eat better. Pretty soon he'll have his own drawer in the fridge. A little patience goes a long way.

BAH lol :D
Today we ran out of crickets an my fiance has the car an is out of town till tomorrow an the pet shops are all on the other side of town. i feel bad for not giving him his usual 28 billion crickets but she gets home tomorrow an our pet shop is open 7 days a week an doesnt close till 6 on sundays :D but all in all he ate plenty of fruits an vegies today so its all good :D

One day without crix isn't bad. It may actually be good for him being hungry enough to try new goodies that he might not be willing to try otherwise. Now he will say, mm carrot and orange is good, think I'll try that again! :D

wont be able to get crickets till this after noon. but this morning when i put his salad in he ran up(after a min or so) an munched on some orange. i think he likes oranges an i cant find any sites that said they are bad at all. i just need to chop them smaller because i accidently let a larger piece get in there an he pretty much forced it down lol. ill have to me way more careful in the future... he still hasnt eaten anything GREEN just oranges an carrots :p lol

Although my dragons do not like oranges I was putting them in our cricket cage for gut loading. A word to the wise... if your dragon poops and it looks like his butt exploded everywhere  it may because he is overloaded with vitamin C. I learned this the hard way with Nero. Once I put apples and carrots in there instead of oranges, all was back to normal. It's good to hear that your beardie is finally eating his veggies. though.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
