Nipping at my fingers

I have had my new bearded dragon since mid December when I got him as a baby. I have been following what others have said about taming him. I put my t-shirt in the viv a week ago and pick him up at night. He seems fine, a little fidgety at times. Twice when I have feed him worms by hand he has bit my finger. He is not aggressive, just seems curious as to what my finger is. The first time was kinda of hard, but today it didn't hurt, just a nip and then he walked off my hand. Is this problem or will he figure out its not food?

I would suggest using feeding tongs. My husband had the same issues with Rufus trying to nibble his finger.

I do that with the crickets, though he seems more interested in licking the tongs than eating the cricket! I want him to be comfortable enough to come to my hand without food, but thats not happening yet.

Its nothing to worry about, its just curiosity.
He'll realise soon enough that your fingers arent yummy.
Just make sure you wash your hands before you feed them, any residual smells of food on your fingers will probably end up with a quisical nip.
