nino staying on the cool side alot

hi everyone my beardie has been sleeping alot during the day time and dont go to his basking spot he just stay on the cool side, his basking spot is between 100-105 degrees and the cool side is in the 80s and im using a uvb light by reptisun 10.0 and he eats all the time he doesnt have a problem with that can someone help me

Hi, sorry to hear that Nino hasn't been wanting to bask, that's not good as he won't be able to digest him food properly.

Is the ReptiSun bulb a fluorescent tube? What is the distance of that bulb and how old is it?

What type of thermometer are you using to ck the temps and where exactly are you checking them?

How old is Nino now?

yes the reptisun is a fluorescent tube and its a 10.0 and i have a prob thermometer and im checking the basking spot and the cool side and nino is 2 years old and a couple of months old

Let us know what you get for a basking and cool side temp. make sure you wait at least 45 min to an hr before getting the final readings.
