Nighttime Temps - Ceramic Heat Emitter

What is the lowest it should get at night....

I cant remember..... is 60 too low?

That is how cold it was in his home last night.... I checked on him and he was an icicle.... I wrapped him up and put him in my sock drawer because I do not have a ceramic heat emitter.

I am going to go to petsmart when I get off work and hopefully they will have something that is decent.

Any suggestions on a brand or type of heat emitter?

You may check online, the ones at petco and petsmart are VERY expensive!! You can get them online for much cheaper!

But! If you choose to get one locally, you can play with wattages. I suggest starting pretty low, as they get HOT and you don't want to cook your guy. Watch the temps closely when you first start using it, until you are comfortable with the level of heat they emit.

We use the strongest one we could find (150, I think) on our monitor in a 75 gallon breeder. We keep it on constantly now that it's gone a little cold.

Ceramic heat emitters, plug into a regular socket? I dont know because I have never looked into them... but from what I saw online that seems to be the case.
Puff sleeps on his hammock at night which is probably ~10 inches from the socket that holds a lightbulb on the cool side of the tank.
This is probably where I would put the ceramic heat emitter considering that is where he sleeps at night. So he would be at the most 1 foot away from the heat emitter. So I definately need a low wattage?

like how low 50?

Yeah, I would start with the lowest wattage, since you only plan on using it for night time. You only need to keep the tems in the mid 60's or 70s at night, anyways. Oh, and yeah, they plug into a regular socket.
My dragon prefers to sleep on the cooler end of the tank, so you may go ahead and put them CHE on the warmer side. This should keep things more consistent for her, but thats just my opinion.
