Nighttime Heating

Hey guys, I just had a quick question about heating at night. I know beardies are fine with temps dropping to 60-65 fahrenheit, however my room is on the threshold of this (65 degrees last night) and winter is quickly approaching with colder temps. My two options is to either invest in another dome to use with a CHE, or I saw on a forum someone was using a heat pad but on the backside of the tank and not the bottom, is that practical? Which would be my better option? Thanks.
edit: what if I bought a space heater for my room?

Was that the temp last night in the viv? In winter here I put the heating on in the lounge overnight and it keeps the viv temp fine but I guess it depends how cold it gets at its worst where you are.

Yes, it was 65~70 in the viv last night (around 35 outside) and I'm just afraid that december and january might drop the temp some more (when it reaches 10~ outside).

Yeah think a heater will be perfectly fine for the room, as long as it will warm the room up well and it's practical for you to use then will be fine. If not then the ceramic heater for night time is fine. Both are good options just depends what's easiest and most practical for you.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
