Nightly Temps

Hi,

So my temps are perfect for the hot and cool side for the daytime. The only thing that I am sort of worrying about is the nightly temp which is around 58-68F and last night it was cooler than most and my 8 week old (Squirt) was a dark brown color when he is usually a light color with orange streaks and a blueish tint, he felt kind of cold... Should I get a CHE? Because I dont want him going into brumation as it is summer here.

Hi there, yes you should get a CHE. A night temp. of 68 is fine, but any lower than 65-66 is too chilly for a baby. A baby doesn't brumate but would become lethargic and possibly sick from too cold of a temp.
