Newly acquired beardie with a strange tail discoloration

Hi there...it looks like the dragon is a red color and his tail is the only part that shed so far. Nothing wrong there, just wait until he finishes his/her shed.

Looks good, the red color of his tail is most likely what his entire body will look like once he sheds it as well. He has already shed is tail, which is typical, and the rest of him will soon follow. Give him a good soak in a warm bath for 15-20 minutes each day (supervised!) to help him through the shed. It looks like he's going to end up pretty cool looking!

By the way, is that a heat rock she's on ? Be careful, those can burn the belly if they malfunction .Just a head's up.
