Newest Trans baby & update! (pic heavy)

Hi everyone! I haven't posted in a while here. For those of you who remember...here's a quick update!

Kora is doing very well and has gained all her weight back from having so many babies. I would LOVE to see pics of her babies all grown up - I know a lot of you on here have her children and I can't imagine how beautiful they turned out. Please send me pics or post them on here if you have a Kora kid! I do plan on breeding her in the upcoming months, but I have to find the right male for her which is hard since she's such a gorgeous girl. She's huge compared to a lot of dragons I see nowadays. The German Giant gene is definitely strong in her!

Greta is growing like a weed! It took her a while to take off but she's definitely getting big now. She's my citrus hypo trans from Citrus Dragons. She's around 10 months now and at last measurement was 16" and almost 300 grams. I can't wait to breed her...although we still have a while to wait. She's what got me absolutely hooked on trans! She is a "super trans" and very high quality. I love her to death and even though we had a rough start with her being absolutely vicious....she loves me now and she's calm and sweet. She devours salads and superworms and surely doesn't care about having a girlish figure :lol:

Gordo sadly is finding a new home in California next week. I'm going to miss him but I know he's going to a great home where he'll be loved! He's getting to be a big boy too. He's very ROUND.

My newest addition came from the Havre de Grace Reptile Show today! I think his name is going to be Dugan. He's about 5" long, from Dragon Fortress. He's a trans leatherback and is 66% het for hypo. He's going to be killer when he gets bigger! He's not as high quality trans as I'd like, he's lacking the black eyes but he's got beautiful colors and his belly is very translucent. His personality is HUGE already. He's a big sweetheart and is very clingy...doesn't want to leave my hand for anything! He even ate some crickets today, his first day being home. :mrgreen:

The new baby is very cute! I got my baby from Dragon Fortress as well and he's been a big eater since day one so look forward to a fat belly! Mine's a regular colored leatherback but he's developing some nice orange coloring as he sheds more. Can't wait to see your little guy as he grows up, he's going to be a looker!

Oh neat! How big is your guy? Could they be related at all? I emailed them asking for a hatch date and info about the parents since the guy selling at the show didn't really have much info on them. Good luck with him!

lookin good. I like the last picture of the little one in the sink. Where hes facing the camera. He looks like he has an evil grin on his face. I'd keep an eye on him, hes got diabolical plans brewin in that little brain of his :lol:

I got him back at the end of May and he's about 7-8 inches right now so he's about 3 months old since the babies they had were about 6 weeks old at Steel City Reptile Expo. I was wondering if they might be related since Malygos is developing some orange on him now that he's getting older. Did they have older ones at your show? The sub-adults they had were only about 4-5 months old and ENORMOUS, not to mention really nice colored. They also had a nice looking lemon colored adult male.

I just got an email back from the breeder and he said "He is a cross between a trans het hypo x het trans het hypo. He was hatched 5/4/11." My guy is REALLY tiny...I'm guessing 5 inches but haven't measured him yet. I can't wait to fatten him up. They did have quite a few older ones at the show but I didn't pay much attention to them...I had trans leather on my mind! We should keep in touch and see how they both turn out, they could be related but who knows!

I went in looking for a slightly older one since I didn't want a tiny little thing but the older ones were out of my price range and I liked their normal leatherbacks. The first one I pointed out was a female but I wanted a male for sure (no eggs) and they had to look at bellies and the "cheat sheet" as my dad called it before finding one. :lol: Mine was hatched about a month before yours but they may share a parent/have related parents so they might be cousin dragons. I think mine was close to 5 inches when I got him but he's around 8-9 after a month and a half so he's growing like a weed. I've got pictures up in the photo section and need to take more but his body is being stubborn about shedding so he's only got his tail done right now.

This is him the first day he came home. He ate probably 20 crickets for me.

This is a little over a week ago. He's gotten MUCH brighter. (And he's tame enough to snooze on me. )
