Newborn won't eat and hide

Hi, don't know if this goes here or in breeding section.
I recently had 36 little beardies hatched. All of them are doing great but one. This one is 13 days old and has never ate for himself. I have to tease him so he opens his mouth and then put a criket or dubia into it and he bites and swallow, he don't spit the insect once it is in his mouth but he don't eat much. I give him liquid calcium since he don't eat well, and some drops of gatorade to keep him hydrated. I mist him well three times a day just as i do with the rest. He also hide a lot. I tried to let him alone the first week but as he hides he doesn't get uvb so i take him out of his hide every now and then. I separated him from the rest so he is currently and has been housed so for 8 days now. He has good colour and when he eats he seems to enjoy the meal but then he returns to his quiet state. I know that it is possible to have casualties in a clutch but i want to do everything i can for him, so if anyone have some tips to get him started i will appreciate it so much.
I had him checked for a vet but he also couldn't find a reason aside stress. I'm letting him as quiet as i can but he doesn't seem to get over stress.
Has anyone had this issue before with a hatchling? What are your experiences and how did you solve it?

I would try some Fluckers Repta Aid, Bene-bac and squash baby food. If those don't help, and not trying to sound like a buzz killer but, often times some just don't make it. That fact is why I don't want to breed any of mine. I couldn't stand mother nature to just take something from me that hasn't had all of it's potential time. Keep trying though he may pull through. Also I am routing for you. :wink:

Ther is no flukers here but i will try with bene bac and squash baby food. Yes, i know in the wild he wouldn't make it but i want to give him a chance, i feel it's my responsability.

Now that you have him by himself, he may feel a little insecure. When I have babies like that, I separate a couple of the smallest babies and put two or three of them together so they still feel like they have their siblings with them. It can also encourage them to eat if it has another in with him. Just a thought. Still, it is very common to have one or two babies in a clutch that eats less and grows slower.

unfortunately there seems to be at least one, out of many clutches that doesnt do well. good luck.
