HI! My name is NaTasha and I'm the proud new owner of my first beardie. I belong to another forum, but there's not much action there. So, after months of research and learning how to take care of a bearded dragon and putting together a home for one, we decided to check out a reptile expo in White Plains, NY. My daughter was insistent on getting a norm, but when she saw the one I really liked she changed her mind lightening fast. We found a beautiful leucistic (sire: leucistic leatherback, dam: hypo leucistic), the only one like it at the whole expo. Then we discovered that it was born on May 5th, which is the day my daughter was born 6 years ago! So, we bought it on the spot. Unfortunately we are not sure of the sex yet b/c she/he is too small, but I have a feeling it's a female. We are waiting to find out to give it a proper name. I'll post a pic the next time I'm on....

the other forum that I go to is beardeddragonforum.com.... it's very helpful, but the guy who runs it can be a bit snippy and needs to work on explaining things in a nicer tone. Nonetheless, he knows a lot about the care of bearded dragons so I look past his other issues....
