Newbie here with questions....

Hmmm that looks cool, is it supposed to stick onto a metal surface? Or is it 2 magnets that sandwich the glass? Either way I'd assume it would slide, but I've never seen one so don't take my word for it.

I think it's two magnets. They have 2 others listed as well but one is a plant holder and one doesn't have a picture. I thought that looked neat but just wasn't sure how well they worked, I was afraid they would slide too. I just wanna find something to make my cage interesting that I can buy because I don't have the patience to make anything myself.

Ha, I know what you mean there, I spent 2 days building a fake rock structure then I got bored of it then went off to school. That was 8 weeks ago, I'll probably finish it eventually when i get back, heh.

Don't listen to her folks, she's just used to making sugar glider stuff. She's got all the patience and talent she needs and I'm sure before you know it she'll be selling really cool beardie stuff herself. I've got several pouches and glider toys she made. She'll probably the first reptile keeper to color coordinate all the "furniture" in her viv! :wink:

Lynsie, I'm glad you asked about the Mega Ray bulbs. I've been looking at them too, but was surprised that the guy at the supposedly "top" reptile store here in Austin didn't know anything about them and was promoting the PowerSun bulb. I had seen elsewhere on the web (not just at the reptileuv site) that the Mega Ray's were good, but it's good to see it from multiple sources.

My little girl does use her magnetic basking rock. The rock itself has two magnets on the back and then there are two magnets you put on the outside of the glass. So far it hasn't slid.
