Okay so, as mentioned yesterday....Steve was very inactive and hadn't pooped all day and had decreased the amount of crickets he was eating to 3-4 per meal. He had a warm bath and a tummy massage yesterday and a couple hours later had a big poop.

Last night for dinner, he ate 9 crickets and was very active. This morning he was again quite active, had another big poop and ate 9 crickets for breakfast. He also gained 3 grams weight from 24 hours previous for a total of 8 grams weight gain in the last 7 days....so things seem to be looking good.

Steve McQueen seems to be on the road to good fortune...after spending the last week wondering and worrying about this new baby's health...this evening he wolfed down 36 crickets with a vengence!!

Also his new enclosure arrived today. A roomy 48x24x24 aquarium...bloody thing weighs a ton...but once it's setup I know he'll be living lavida loca!

Update - at 62 days old (1 day short of 9 weeks old), Steve is now 35 grams in weight and 8.5 inches in length.

He continues to gain (on average), 1.21 grams of weight daily and 4 millimeters (0.132 inches) in length daily. He also eats an average of 26 crickets daily, though still not a fan of fruits/veggies yet.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
