New Vivarium Stress

As Caesar gets older, he's outgrown his smaller Viv and I am getting his new one prepared.
I would have done it sooner, however he has had some major stress issues when anything in his viv changes (understandably). He is very attached to his Wicker box and his (useless) thermometer. He sleeps under his box as a hide, and above it as a basking area. I would place the box in his new viv, but it is fairly big and I want enough room for him to run around.

I was wondering if anyone has any advice to make the switch easier from his old viv to his new bigger one?

It is hard to change them to a new tank, I agree.
I was going to say to keep his wicker box/basket to put into his new tank, even if it doesn't give him as much room. He needs to have something in the new tank, that is "his" & that he is attached to so he feels more at home. That way, it will also have his scent on it, also.
You can try to match the design/arrangement too so everything doesn't just overwhelm him with an overload of change. Such as keep the UVB light & basking on the same end as it is now. Are you keeping the same type of substrate also?
Some handle change better than others, so maybe he wont do so bad & will take it easily.
When do you plan on moving him over?
