We took in a rescue this week, she was in a 18x18x18 tank so I had to build new viv’s for them.
Their new homes are 48x24x24, and it only cost $300.00 for both !
I went to LOWES and got a shelving rack for $90 , and closed in 3 sides and made doors for the front.
The back and floor are the shelf boards that come with it, the sides are FRP board and the doors are plywood with plexi glass on the inside.
I raised the top on 2x4 for venting, we are using tape to find out how much venting we need, then we can get the molding for the top. I used ¾ oak plywood for the top and set my 52 inch TV on them.
We named her LUCKY because she lucky to be alive, the vet said she should be 100% in a month or 2..
She loves to run the house as she never did that before, but her legs get tired fast , as she was never out of her small tank.
Well hope this helps
