My name is Cody and i am new to this whole Lizard thing. I have adopted two Bearded Dragons from two different people. The first one i had taken in was Marley. I got him from a buddy named Jeremy. I would go to his house and look at the thing and just get kinda grossed out i guess, but then he made me put him back in his aquarium once, that made me realize it wasnt so bad. Then soon after he had asked me if i wanted the dragon. Aquarium, lights.. the whole nine yards. So i said sure, why not.. if i am getting it for free. I have had Marley for about a little over a month. He was the runt of his clutch so he is missing a good chunk of his tail and all his toes on his back right foot except one. But he still gets around great. He is about 3 years old and with half his tail missing he is a good 14 inches. I have him in a home that i had made out of two windows, and some extra ply wood i had laying around. He loves that thing becuase it is so large in size. It is about 52 inches wide, by about 20 inches tall and 17 inches deep. I give him a little tiny bowl that is filled with about 5 freeze dried crickets and 15 freeze dried meal worms each day, along with some green leaf lettuce that has reptile vitamins sprinkled on top. Marley is my little buddy
The next Beardie i have is named Pete, i got him from some kids that my girlfriend babysat for. He is about 3 or 4 years old and He is about 18 inches and he has all his tail and all of his foot (hehe). I have him on the same diet that i have Marley on. Pete is in a 45 Gallon aqarium right now, until i can upgrade a little more. I have had Pete for almost a month. He has been a great companion so far. He loves riding in the truck with me, he sits right next to me and observes the outside world while getting a little natural sun =]
Thank you for reading and looking =]
