new to site and 1st time owner

hi mi names jose im from orange county ca me and my lil girl finaly convinced my wife to get a pet and what better than a bearded dragon. So long story short north american breeder reptile expo something like that held their expo in the same building where my church is held and well it was a sign fro the man upstairs that its the right time to get our pet. we got a hypo citrus sandfire bearded dragon my lil girl choose it out since he/she waved at her through the cage. so far hes doing good we got him a 20 gallon tank to start off and i found a 27 gallon tank during work so im cleaning it out and putting him in their in about a month. Im happy to take any suggestions or tips on raising him/her right anything would help as of now he eats his greeens with a raspberry or strawberry and his crickets.

Thats so exiting! I have a few questions for you. One whats your UVB bulb? Two whats your temp at? And three whats your flooring?

For my uvb bulb I got a powersun 10 desert sun and a full spectrum lightbulb his flooring is sand which I'm going to take out today once I'm off of work and gonna be putting in tile since I've read that sand might cause impaction eventhough guy that has 6 years experience didn't tell me that at petco :-( and temp is 90 to 100 also I hold him once a day he loves to run around our bed and look out the window.

Never listen to petco, or petsmart, or petland. Also you need a reptisun 10.0 or an arcaidia 12% because other bilbs hurt there eyes. Take it from my i had orignialy a reptisun 5.0 compact bilb and i don't think his eyes will fully ever recover. Also you gotta change them every 6 months and you can just use 100w clear house hold bulb for basking. Also your basking stop should be between 100-110f and the cool side should not go lower then 85f

Ok I have two uvb buls the powersun that's 3 in one and then the desert one that looks like the energy saving bulbs well like a pigs tail. So it would be better just to get the florecent tube light instead? Also how do you put a picture o thup so I can show him off too? Haha
