New to bearded dragons

We just purchased a 15 month old beardie, Mikko, from a Craigslist ad with full 50 gallon tank setup - habitat, lighting, etc. from a young mother whose husband was just returning from Iraq and she couldn't give him the attention he needs. He's healthy, eating okay, only pooped twice this week. But we're enjoying getting to know Mikko and have lots of questions for the forum. We're quickly learning this is something that takes a lot of self-education and consistent routines, much like our kids and dogs!

Yes having a beardie is like having a baby They are small but do need taking care of. You will learn all your life of having these fantastic little critters. I have had beardies for 8 years now and I'm still learning new things. Feel free to ask questions and post pictures!!
