New Tile Question

Hey there,
Yesterday I changed out the crushed walnut bedding for tile in Cazic's tank.

He is really (and I mean REALLY) pissed off about it tho.
How can I help him get adjusted to it easier?

The tiles are not glazed or smooth... kinda rough. He was a rescued beardie so he doesn't quite trust me enough yet to clip his nails (I don't think he has ever had it done yet)
He refueses to come down off his branch to eat salad or crickets and I don't want him to stop eating. I place him on it and he glares at me and climbs back up his branch.

Any ideas?

..Substrate is sometimes a heated debate here, but pesonally..I think you did the right thing.
It will take some getting used to, but it will definitely help with his nails. I have slate tile in Sakura's viv and it's great. You can see it in Photo Expressions "Sandpaper Princess"..if you want to check it out.

How about a piece of "furniture" that is grouted ? The grout can help wear down nails naturally, and it looks great ! Just seal with 6-8 coats of Mod Podge, and away goes beardie !
