For the holidays I hope to get something for both me and Paco; A nicer terrarium. His current one is a pretty basic 40 gallon breeder from PetSmart with a sliding screen lid. The bare minimum, but I was buying it along with most of the lighting and decor all by myself at 16 at the time. Thank goodness for gift cards...
I was hoping for something with sliding doors or dual opening doors with some kind of clip, both opening from the front for easy access. The Exo-Terra 36 x 18 x18 looks the most appealing to me right now.. It's $259.99 on Amazon by itself and I was wondering if I should get the Exo Terra Compact Incandescent Fixtur for another $69.47 with it. Together, that is really pushing what I feel comfortable asking for. I'm very lucky enough to have loving, well-off parents willing to buy me nice things for the holidays and of course I'm very grateful, but I'm not the type of person that really feels comfortable asking for things THIS expensive.
So basically with that said, I'm asking any of you if you know any other options with what I'm hoping for that is less of a stretch in price. That is the dual/sliding front doors and the acceptable size for my big baby.
Or just even if this terrarium is worth the price for what I'm looking for.
