New Tank?

When do I have to transfer my beardie to a new tank? I am pretty sure shes okay for now, but for future references, How do I know when she is too big for her tank and needs to be transferred into a larger one? I am not sure the size right now.

*Side notes and such....*
My mom bought it for me and set it up while i was at work. I really want to get a larger tank for her just because itd make me feel good to know that she has a lot of space to move around. And it is hard to convince my mom that she needs a bigger tank or that shes not feeling well or anything.. She works at Petsmart as a manager and she actually cares about the animals.. So shes a very trustworthy person, unlike most that you hear about. But she think shes an expert on reptiles so when I come to her with something that i feel strongly about, like getting her a bigger tank, she will try and reassure me that she doesnt need a bigger tank right now.. Which i understand because their tanks are expensive and i wouldnt be the one buying it. Itd be her money.. Sorry for the rant! Just thinking out loud. ALSO, HAPPY NEW YEAR YOU GUYS!!!

Happy new year to you too! It is good to hear that there are good PetSmart managers out there
Unlike what a lot of people say, large tanks will rarely stress out babies and they are fine in large tanks right off the bat. I got my baby when he was 6" and he has always live in a 4' x1.5' x 2 with zero problems. IMO, switch as soon as possible

Petco does 1$ a gallon sale, not sure when. 40 gallons= 40$
It's nicer with front doors that open. Check on Craigslist.
