New Tank Soon!

Finally gonna get my baby a new tank! His small one is stressing him out so much, he barely has room to move, and it's honestly breaking my heart. It's making him black his beard, poor baby.
HOPEFULLY, I'll be able to get a lovely upgrade from petco: I have a pals card, so I'll get it almost half off. I took a peek to see what they have today, and to see if the measurements will fit in the same spot (my small dresser), and it should! So, hopefully this Tuesday, my little Hiu will have a much bigger tank!
I had thought that, if I took him out frequently enough, he'd be fine until we moved to Oklahoma, where there's a 75 gallon waiting for him in my fiancees house, but he needs a new one now. :( He's been getting really bad stress lines, worse than he usually gets. He needs a new one now. I'll probably see about selling his current one after the fact.

Any particular critters I should recommend for the tank? Ones that won't outgrow it? the dimensions are 1ft/2.5ft/1ft.

I'm sure that Hiu will be happy in his newer accommodations. :) Going in to a new tank might cause him a bit of stress, too so you might see that for a few days. The old tank could be used for an armadillo lizard, Rankin's dragon, leopard, panther or fat tail geckos, dart frogs or a number of types of toads as well as hermit crabs to name a few.

Hello, I am sure your beardie will appreciate a bigger tank! A good size would be 4' x 2' x 2' , which would be honestly cheaper to build. It is equivalent to about 120 gallons. If you can't do that big, try for at the very least a 36" x 18" x 18", although anything bigger would be better. :D

This new one for tomorrow is still gonna e smaller than the 75 gal my fiancé got, but it's still going to be so much better than what he has now. My fiancé and I have talked about building a nice big one! I'd love to have a 120 gal for Hiu!

Awesome! Thanks! I figured it would be a good idea to list recommendations, so that people can hold onto it longer than a few months and have to find a new one all over again.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
