New tank need help!

ive just moved my bearded dragon into a full size tank from his 20 gallon. he's already loving it with the extra room that he has to roam and feed. I have a few questions though with the set up, firstly, I have a reptisun t5 10.0 UVB for him, how do I SAFELY mount this in his tank? I've heard of command hooks and double sided tape, but in all honesty that just sounds like a horrendous accident waiting to happen!! Also, what are some other things he may need in this tank now that it's so much bigger? I have some crystals, a hide/lower rock, (which he's too large to go inside of now) a larger stick that he loves very much, water and veggie bowl. I use paper towels as my substrate, and his heat lamp is at 100w now with his larger tank. One other question, his nails are starting to get long, should he have some sort of scratching rock to help him dull them, or do you cut their nails? As you can see there's a lot getting in the way of his UVB with his new tank, hence why mounting inside seems like the best thing to do as soon as possible!

A T5 with a reflector should be OK even through the screen top if that branch gets up within 10'' of the bulb. They're pretty powerful. Which fixture do you have? The ZooMed brand?

You may want to add a half log or something that will give him complete shade to hide in, especially at night. The branches you have look really good though so I'd keep that as the centerpiece for sure, especially if he likes climbing on them and basking.

You could put ceramic tile down as the base to help file his nails but you can also trim or file them manually. Just use an emery board to file them or nail clippers to nick just the very sharp tip of the nail off as needed.

Something like a shelf along the back wall would be good, maybe with the log as a ramp up to it. The shelf will make a good basking spot and also provide shade.

As long as he can get within about 10", he should be fine with it mounted on the top of the screen
