New styrofoam landscape questions

I've created a new background/landscape/jungle gym for Leo, and I've got a concern. I am using thin-set for my coating, and in its dry state, it seems to be REALLY rough. This would be good for his nails, and at shedding time, but will it be a problem the rest of the time?

No, I have to trim it a little and do another coat of thin-set. I assume using a sealer will smooth it out and make it more cleaning friendly? What sealer is recommended?

Thanks

Yes it would/should. You could always go over it with a sandpaper first if you want, I didn't need to. But then again, I never really thought mine was really rough, even before sealing.

I used mod-podge, I forgot what type though.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
